A Career Being Built Properly

The focus is not short-term noise. It is learning the craft properly — understanding what makes a car fast, what makes a driver consistent, and what allows performance to hold under pressure.

Classic Formula Ford rewards precision, mechanical grip and discipline. There is nowhere to hide. No aero dependency. No excess power. Just feel, balance and judgement.

That challenge is what draws him in. He is fascinated by grip — how it is created, how it is sustained and how it disappears. The fine line between control and overreach. The difference between sliding for attention and sliding for advantage.

Learning From The Machine

Learning From the Machine

Harrison’s development extends beyond the cockpit because he wants to understand what he is driving — not just sit in it. He has been directly involved in building and preparing race cars from bare chassis to race-ready condition. Long evenings in the workshop. Suspension components laid out on benches. Learning why a millimetre matters.

Working alongside experienced engineers and mechanics, he is developing a working understanding of geometry, balance and setup cause-and-effect — not from textbooks, but from experience. That involvement builds more than knowledge. It builds respect. When something changes, he knows why. When something breaks, he understands the consequence. That mechanical empathy sharpens feedback and strengthens the trust inside a team.

Car racing did not arrive gently. In the Royale RP21 — a 50-year-old Formula Ford chassis — Harrison stepped into demanding race environments early. Hayes and the Formula Ford Festival bring together nearly 200 drivers from across the UK and internationally, compressing pressure into a matter of days.

Those events expose weaknesses quickly. Arriving new to car competition, he exceeded expectations and earned recognition in independent race coverage — not because of noise, but because of execution. Composure. Pace. Discipline. It was not a comfortable introduction. It was a necessary one.

A Voice Within the Sport

A Voice Within the Sport

Racing matters to Harrison beyond the stopwatch. Through the Morrow Motorsport Notebook, he documents development openly — the frustrations, the adjustments, the lessons in grip and balance, the conversations with experienced drivers who have been doing this for decades.

He has spoken publicly about the realities of progression in motorsport, about simulation versus consequence, and about why learning the craft properly still matters. He is as comfortable explaining the sport as he is competing in it. That matters for partners. And it matters for the future of the sport itself.

Built for Longevity

Built for Longevity

This programme exists to build a long-term professional driving career — one where competitive performance and commercial partnership grow together. Mechanical involvement strengthens driving performance. Communication strengthens brand alignment. Competition tests everything.

The right partners make that progression possible. They help extend opportunity, deepen experience and share in the journey — season by season. The ambition is clear. To compete seriously. To represent professionally. To build something that lasts. A motorsport career is not sustained by speed alone. It is sustained by performance, professionalism — and people who believe in building things properly.
