recent RACES
kIMBOLToN ROUND 1:
On the Saturday we were mostly running in engines yet once i had finished running in pace was strong. Felt like a good productive day. Engine , though tight, felt like it had great pace. Teammates were Harry Higgs and Yehan Kallychurn (2023 junior tkm britsh champion)
On to Sunday. Heat one was difficult and ended up in unnecessary fights due to penalty , started 20th and finished 20th. I was quite frustrated with myself , feeling as i could do better I took that drive into the next heat where i started 7th. Race was going well battling at the front of the pack for 8th yet was taken out and thus finishing 22nd. Least to say I was absolutely enraged with the result. These 2 horrendous results making my job in the final even harder. Into the final I pushed as hard as possible as starting 24th was not where I wanted to be. Would be an embarrassing finish for myself. By taking every opportunity i got given and pushing as hard as possible I was able to catch and pass , catch and pass. Due to my teammate (Yehan Kallychurn) having an incident with another driver my overtaking opportunities where limited as there was yellow flags. Despite this hindrance I was able to muster an okay 12th finish. Not ideal but considering the circumstances I did well , gaining 12 positions. 2nd highest mover. A lot to learn but felt spectacular getting back into the kart.
